Club Presidential Citation With Distinction

The club had very welcome visit from District Governor Hank de Smit this week, made all the more special by his presentation of a Presidential Citation With Distinction award to the club.

While we all know that the citation is for the club’s achievement of a variety of criteria throughout the year, we also know that it is effective leadership that allows any group achieve its goals. Our first lady president, Sue Reid, displayed those qualities of leadership that made this club continue to be an effective and productive Rotary Club of which we can be proud and it was Sue’s dedication, enthusiasm and drive that carried us along and resulted in us receiving the award.

Well done Sue! You have raised the bar a couple of notches.
