A DOUBLE HEADER AT MUNDARING

There were two important items on the agenda at a recent meeting at Mundaring. They were, in no particular order, Felicity Morgan's talk about her recent exchange experience in Belgium and a presentation to Les Storer who has been our ever patient bar manager for over ten years at our weekly meetings.

Felicity kept the members enthralled with her account of her experience and her Power Point presentation showing the many delightful and photogenic places she visited during her twelve months away. Like every exchange student, she was most enthusiastic about the Rotary Youth Exchange Program and believes that it is the best thing that Rotary does. She thanked the club profusely for the opportunity to participate in this life changing experience.

The other important event was the presentation to Les Storer of a suitably engraved clock in recognition of over ten years tending to the needs of club members as bar manager and cheerfully accepting unfair fines from every sergeant that held that position over those years.

Les has now handed over those duties and his ever-smiling presence will be missed by all members.
