Inducted into the family of Rotary on 3 September 2014 was Fraser Davey pictured above with his nominator, Jim Morgan and President David Cockman.

Congratulations Fraser!

Everything came together for Fraser’s induction night, we had fourteen guests present including the Principals and Deputy Principals of the high schools in our region as well as PDG Phil Cordery and Dr Bret Hart who accompanied our Indigenous Health Scholarship student, Veronica Dolman. The larger than normal meeting was addressed by an excellent guest speaker, Lou Syme, who spoke of the need for Rotary Clubs to form partnerships with schools and other organisations within their region. He based his talk around his extensive experience and knowledge of organizing large projects within industry.

The night was enjoyed by all of the people present and all guests were given a copy of the booklet Humanity In Motion to take with them. We are hopeful that this highly successful night may engender some interest in Rotary and perhaps result in several new members.
