TWO “TADAH” MOMENTS

The Rotary Club of Mundaring held a very successful social bowls night at the Mundaring Sporting Club on 9 April for no other reason than ‘why not?

The scoring was highly suspect with most of the score keepers seeming to do a lot better than would be expected from first time bowlers or even blind luck. That having been said, there were no arguments on during the night, so the Four Way Test must have prevailed after all.

There where at least couple of ‘Tahdah’ moments (there may have been more but the photographer was too engrossed in fixing his score to catch them all). The shots of the night are shown above. President Sue and David B are showing Lyle how it should be done, and Lorna, David Reid and Rod W are seen rubbing the message in.

Lyle claims that he was driving a VW with the accelerator stuck on ‘full ahead’, hence the number of ditch shots he bowled.

Many thanks to the patient bowling instructors from the Sporting Club who helped make our social night a success.
